One year ago, to the day, the first organisational meeting of the Fish Route took place. It was at the former National Stud of Compiègne, where it all began thirty years earlier.

The ghosts of the past, still dressed in red uniforms, helped us to imagine the future of the Fish Road, like the phoenix rising from its ashes. A new generation combined with the old guard would work together to revive this mythical route.

On January 11th, 2020, a pact was sealed between all the participants in this meeting, and was defined as follows: no one leaves the ship before having launched an epic, both human and equestrian, of European scope. To have given back its colours to the only route that brings together animal welfare, ecological transition, French history, heritage, carriage driving, gastronomy and youth.
